Welcome to Colours On The Face

Hello to all my readers! Thank you so much for stopping by. I am Gautami and this is going to be my first ever blogpost and this blog is dedicated for matters relating to beauty and lifestyle. I am no expert in either of the two spheres mentioned but I have this penchant towards beauty as well as lifestyle.

I believe that before saying anything else I must introduce myself. Well, you would know my name already if you haven't skipped the initial lines of this post. Nevertheless, I am Gautami Roy and I am a Biomedical Engineer. For a while I am going to follow this profession but I am quite sure that it won't be too long that I can see myself taking up some other job. I am basically a whimsical person; a friend of mine always says that I'm unpredictable - nobody knows my next move, neither do I. Other adjectives that can describe me well are insane, lazy, spontaneous, loving and caring (only for specific people though), short-tempered. So if you see anything random in here, please don't mind. I hope you get the picture!

Now coming to this blog, through this blog I neither intend to preach the mantra for a healthy life nor to demonstrate how to cover the flaws of our already beautiful countenances, but to share my random thoughts on them. I would like this blog to be a platform for girls to connect with each other and share the views as well.

Suncros Aquagel SPF 26 Review

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to review a sunscreen which is the Suncros Aquagel Sunscreen with spf 26. Of late I am only using products that are paraben free. As most of you know, paraben is a class of compounds that are used in cosmetics as a preservative. Although parabens help to keep our makeup and skin care products bacteria free, however it is said cause hormonal disturbance in our body. Hence, I prefer to be on the safer  side. I have used sunscreens from Lakme, Lotus, Khadi, Neutrogena and they all contain paraben. The Khadi sunscreen claims to be paraben free but I don't like its texture.
