Essence Lip Liner - Satin Mauve

How are you all doing gals? I am currently obsessed with lip liners. Yes, I use them not only as a lip liner but also as a lip colour or lipstick. This particular one is from a brand called Essence which is available on Amazon and Nykaa. I chose the shade Satin Mauve to give this line a shot. From the day I received this, I've been addicted to this lip liner. And why not? This is just fantastic. Let me make a point right here itself: do buy this lip liner if you're addicted to lip liners. Packaging:
Nothing fancy, nothing gimmicky, the lip liner comes in a wooden pencil form which needs to be sharpened after every 2-3 uses. The pencil is colour coded and has a silver cap.

Review:
This lip liner is the smoothest lip liner I've ever used. And I'm pretty sure that I will never find a lip liner as smooth or buttery like the Essence lip liner. This actually feels like lipstick in a pencil form. The tip of the pencil is silky soft and hence is susceptible to breaking when you sharpen it. However, before sharpening the pencil I store it in the refrigerator for 5 minutes so that it gets firm (that's a tip!). The pigmentation is very good and there's no tugging of the lips during application. If you are using this as a lipstick, then the staying power is about 3 hours with some snacking in between. Satin mauve is a beautiful violet/mauve shade, suitable for all skin tones. The finish of the lip liner is not matte but satin finish.

4/5. If you are looking for affordable lip liners with wide range of colours, Essence lip liners are for you. There are most of the times out of stock on Nykaa. If you find them available anywhere, just grab them all.

Suncros Aquagel SPF 26 Review
