Affordable Eyeshadow Brushes

Hello there everyone. Today I'm here to share my experience with some affordable eyeshadow brushes from Amazon. I am always in search for good quality as well as affordable makeup brushes. I have been using them since last year and these brushes are enough to get your eye makeup done quite flawlessly.

Affordable Eye Makeup Brushes

So, the first brush that I'm going to share is an angular brush from Vega. Now, Vega is a very common affordable and popular brand for makeup tools. I use this brush for various purposes like filling my eyebrows(with powder product only) and smoking my lash line. So let's see what are the other good things about this brush:
  • Very affordable (price - 90 INR)
  • No shedding of bristles (even after washing thoroughly)
  • The tip of the brush is thin and the slant is apt, giving us a good control over its use
  • Doesn't look cheap
  • Easily available in local stores and online
  • Bristles are smooth and soft and doesn't poke my eyes
  • It has synthetic bristles

Next is a set of 4 eye makeup brushes. I fell for these brushes at first sight. These brushes are staple in my daily minimal makeup. 3 out of 4 brushes are densely packed and gives a seamless finish. Let me give a brief description of each bushes along with how I use them:
  • Angular Blending Brush -  This is my most favorite brush and finds its use daily as I define my crease with it. It is a very fluffy blending brush and gives a blended look.

  • Blending Brush - This a big blending brush which I use to apply transition shade and blend the eyeshadows together. I also use this brush to lightly contour my face.

  • Pencil Brush - This is a big pencil brush and has a pointed tip. I don't use this on a regular basis but use it when I have to darken the outer-V of my eyes.

  • Flat Top Brush -  To be really honest I have never seen a brush like this before; naming it was the most difficult task while writing this post. This is less densely packed than the other brushes. I use this brush to clean out any fall out from eyeshadows and to powder my eyelids before applying any eyeshadow.

To sum up, I really like these brushes and these are well suited for beginners to play with. Here's why I love them so much:
  • Very affordable (price: 260 INR)
  • Easily available on online stores
  • No shedding of bristles
  • The bristles are synthetic and blends eyeshadows very well
  • Looks very classy
  • Very light weight and travel friendly
  • Bristles are smooth and soft

The cap is a transparent one and had all the details of the product stuck in it.   Wet n Wild Color Icon Kohl Liner Pencil - Simma Brown Now   Quantity: 1.4 grams Price: INR 135   Ingredients List: Beeswax/Cire d’abeille, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax/Cire de carnauba, Ceresin, Petrolatum, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, Mica, Chromium Oxide Greens/CI 77288, Iron Oxides/CI 77491, CI 77499.   Swatches!! (Left: 1 swipe     Right: 3 swipes)   Review: Would you be in shock if I say that I use this kohl pencil as a brow pencil? I seriously do it. The texture is waxy enough to be used as a brow pencil. It isn't the smoothest kajal pencil but better than those which crumble on account of their softness. Hence, I use it

Suncros Aquagel SPF 26 Review

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to review a sunscreen which is the Suncros Aquagel Sunscreen with spf 26. Of late I am only using products that are paraben free. As most of you know, paraben is a class of compounds that are used in cosmetics as a preservative. Although parabens help to keep our makeup and skin care products bacteria free, however it is said cause hormonal disturbance in our body. Hence, I prefer to be on the safer  side. I have used sunscreens from Lakme, Lotus, Khadi, Neutrogena and they all contain paraben. The Khadi sunscreen claims to be paraben free but I don't like its texture. On much research and consultation with a dermatologist I came across Suncros sunscreen. Suncros Aquagel Spf 26 Now, Suncros has many variants of sunscreens. You can find both cream and gel formulae sunscreens. Although this one has the term "gel"  in it, but the texture is actually that of a cream.  Packaging:   The sunscreen comes in a cubical c
