I love eyeshadows till death parts us. I have a whole lot of adrenaline rush when I see, read or even think of eyeshadows. Unfortunately, I don't own a whole lot of eyeshadows. I don't even own a single palette or a quad. That's mainly because either I don't like the assortment of colours or the price and even the presence of parabens makes me cross off a palette/quad from my list. Hence, I am more on collecting single eyeshadows. Making my own palette is expensive but that way I exactly know what colours I will use and buy according to my taste. Colourpop has become a sensation. Be it the Super Shock Eyeshadows or Lipsticks, every girl needs them in their vanity. And why not? They are super affordable. Although Colourpop ships to India but I decided to get a few eyeshadows from an Instagram seller when they were on sale. The two shades I got are Wattles and Weenie.
Packaging:
The eyeshadows come in white pot with transparent lid and "Colourpop" written on it. The bottom of the pot has the shade name, quantity etc mentioned on them. The outer box is a white one and nothing fancy or over the top. The pots are pretty big for 2.1grams of product.
Quantity:
2.1 grams
Price:
$5. INR 500-700 from Indian Instagram sellers.
Ingredients:
CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONE, TRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE, SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, ISODODECANE, C30-45 ALKYL CETEARYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, BORON NITRIDE, DIMETHICONE/VINYLTRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE CROSSPOLYMER, SILICA, PHENOXYETHANOL, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, GLYCINE SOJA (SOYBEAN) OIL, MANGIFERA INDICA (MANGO) SEED BUTTER, PROPYLENE CARBONATE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, TIN OXIDE, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, BRONZE POWDER (CI 77400), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491), MICA (CI 77019), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891).
(Not mentioned in packaging)
Shades:
Wattles - Satin. It's a dusty pink-beige shade. Works better with fingers.
Weenie - Ultra metallic. It's a true rose gold. Works better with fingers.
Review:
These eyeshadows are love. The best thing about them is that they work better with fingers. So, they are apt for beginners. Wattles feels very soft to touch and Weenie almost feels like it is molten (kind of wet). Both of these are have great pigmentation and stays put on the eyes for very long. Weenie doesn't have any kick back but Wattles has some kick back which is very minor though. They don't crease even without a primer, which is a striking feature of these shadows.
Pros:
None...
Final Verdict:
They are my most favourite eyeshadows among what I have. They have excellent formulation and an amazing shade range to cater to every girls' needs.
I bought these two for Rs. 1045 during a sale from an Instagram seller called "adoremakeup16".
