Dupe for Makeup Geek Chickadee! (Coloressence Vibgyor Matt Eye Shade: EM-2)

Hello there everyone. Today I'm reviewing Coloressence Vibgyor Matt Eye Shades in the shade EM-2. I previously purchased the shade EM-4 and have also reviewed it. EM-4 an absolute favorite of mine which led me to buy this shade. I bought this shade from Amazon and it came half broken (I was infuriated).

Coloressence Eye Shade EM-2

Packaging: It is a single eye shadow and comes in black pot with a clear plastic on top which enables to see the colour of the shadow. It also mentions the manufacturing date, expiry date, quantity, price, etc. on the bottom of the pot. I really appreciate this sort of packaging as it gives me an overall idea about the product. The pot came in a black cardboard box with different information about the product.

Packaging (it came broken!)

Ingredients List: Terminalia belerica extract, soyabean oil (active ingredients only).

Quantity: 3.5 grams

Price: 200 INR

Shelf Life: 3 years

Review: The colour is a muted orange (with yellow undertones) and is my go to transition shade. It is a dupe for Makeup Geek Chickadee. I love this shade but the pigmentation is not that great and is also powdery. I use a fluffy blending brush to use it in my crease and to get a good intensity I usually have to dip my brush 2-3 times which is bad. On the good side, there is no fall out or kick back. The colour can be built easily while not looking tacky and it blends really well. I seldom use it on my lids but when I do I use a wet brush which enhances the intensity.

Left: Swatch using finger
Right: Swatch using dry shader brush

Pros:
  • Affordable (3.5g for Rs. 200)
  • Unique colour
  • Blends very easily
  • Stays for 6 hours with base
Cons:
  • Complete ingredients list not mentioned
  • No mirror
  • Pigmentation could have been better and powdery.

Final Verdict: 3.5/4. Although I am rating it so, but this colour is very close to my heart.

(Left: 1 swipe     Right: 3 swipes)   Review: Would you be in shock if I say that I use this kohl pencil as a brow pencil? I seriously do it. The texture is waxy enough to be used as a brow pencil. HealthVit Bath & Body Tea Tree Body & Face Cream

Hello lovelies! Today I am reviewing a moisturizer: HealthVit Bath & Body Tea Tree Body & Face Cream. I had purchased this in the month of November anticipating the dry winter to take a toll on my skin. I generally have combination to oily skin all through the year except in the winter. However, this winter my skin was more on the normal side than drier. The only moisturizer that I use, irrespective of the season, is my Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. Despite having oily skin, I really enjoy keeping my skin hydrated as it also helps to check further oil secretion. I came to know about the brand, HealthVit, from Nykaa when I was searching for a facewash, which is indeed a very good facewash. Hence, this brand a rather good impression to me.   HealthVit Bath & Body Tea Tree Body & Face Cream About HealthVit: HealthVit is a part of West-Coast Pharmaceutical Works Ltd. and primarily manufactures natural health and dietary supplements, personal care products, ...
