Coloressence Vibgyor Matt Eye Shades (Shade: EM-4)

Hello there everyone. I hope everyone's doing great and I am back again with another review and this time it's an eye shadow. Of all makeup items, I must tell you, eye shadow is my most favorite and I diligently use one particular shade almost everyday. An eye shadow doesn't just make your eyes look  beautiful but it also a mood lifter, as in my case.
And it is the Coloressence Single Matt Eye Shade in EM-4 that I use almost every single day since I got this. It's a cool toned brown which I love to the core and you will know shortly that why I do so.
Coloressence is an Indian drugstore brand that provides not only affordable products but also good quality makeup.

Packaging of the eyeshadow

Packaging: It is a single eye shadow and comes in black pot with a clear plastic on top which enables to see the colour of the shadow. It also mentions the manufacturing date, expiry date, quantity, price, etc. on the bottom of the pot. I really appreciate this sort of packaging as it gives me an overall idea about the product. The pot came in a black cardboard box with different information about the product.

Ingredients List: Terminalia belerica extract, soyabean oil (active ingredients only).

Quantity: 3.5 grams

Price: 200 INR

Review: I cannot express my love for this product enough. I use this almost every day not only as eye shadow, but also as brow filler and contouring. The days when I'm rushing, I just use this cool toned brown in my crease and pop some mascara. I don't use the colour on my lids as it doesn't show up on my skin well (I've dusky skin tone) but will show up on medium and fair skin tones. This also acts as a very good brow filler. Dusky and medium skin tones can use this for contouring but on fair skin it looks muddy. The formula is smooth with no fall-outs and kick backs. The pigmentation is not too great but fairly well. However, I feel such products gives a better control and there is hardly any scope of error, especially for beginners; one can easily build the colour upon their desired intensity. You can get maximum pigmentation when used with a wet brush. Since I use this in my crease, I use a dry crease brush for it's application.

Left: Swatched with flat brush
Right: Swatched with finger

Pros:
  • Affordable (3.5g for Rs. 200)
  • Versatile colour
  • Can be used with both finger and brush
  • Blends very easily
  • Fairly good pigmentation
  • Easily available
  • Stays for 6 hours with base

Cons:
  • Complete ingredients list not mentioned
  • No mirror

Final Verdict: 4.5/5. I love this as I get to use it in various ways

The cap is a transparent one and had all the details of the product stuck in it.   Wet n Wild Color Icon Kohl Liner Pencil - Simma Brown Now   Quantity: 1.4 grams Price: INR 135   Ingredients List: Beeswax/Cire d’abeille, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax/Cire de carnauba, Ceresin, Petrolatum, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, Mica, Chromium Oxide Greens/CI 77288, Iron Oxides/CI 77491, CI 77499.   Swatches!! (Left: 1 swipe     Right: 3 swipes)   Review: Would you be in shock if I say that I use this kohl pencil as a brow pencil? I seriously do it. The texture is waxy enough to be used as a brow pencil. It isn't the smoothest kajal pencil but better than those which crumble on account of their softness. Hence, I use it

Suncros Aquagel SPF 26 Review

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to review a sunscreen which is the Suncros Aquagel Sunscreen with spf 26. Of late I am only using products that are paraben free. As most of you know, paraben is a class of compounds that are used in cosmetics as a preservative. Although parabens help to keep our makeup and skin care products bacteria free, however it is said cause hormonal disturbance in our body. Hence, I prefer to be on the safer  side. I have used sunscreens from Lakme, Lotus, Khadi, Neutrogena and they all contain paraben. The Khadi sunscreen claims to be paraben free but I don't like its texture. On much research and consultation with a dermatologist I came across Suncros sunscreen. Suncros Aquagel Spf 26 Now, Suncros has many variants of sunscreens. You can find both cream and gel formulae sunscreens. Although this one has the term "gel"  in it, but the texture is actually that of a cream.  Packaging:   The sunscreen comes in a cubical c
