Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (Washable)


Do believe me if I tell you that Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara is the first mascara that I've used as well as this is my first review on a makeup product. And let me tell you I'm completely smitten by it. Initially I was too scared to use a mascara and I didn't have much expectation from this product although I've heard/seen/read people praising this product all over the world. I bought mine from Nykaa at a discount. And I am so glad that I bought it.

Packaging: The mascara comes in a rose gold tube with a wand which is pretty unique. The wand may seem intimidating initially but with practice one will get accustomed to it. The wand is a curved one with short bristles on the concave side and longer bristles on convex side.

Claims: "Exclusive fanning brush with ten layers of bristles reveals layers of lashes for a sensational full-fan effect. Ophthalmologist tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers."

Review: Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara comes in two variants - waterproof and washable. The mascara is neither runny nor sticky. Initially, you may face problem in application so get rid of any excess product for better application. The mascara gives you full fan effect. It also gives volume and length as well. I don't curl my lashes but the mascara curls the lashes and holds it for considerable time. You may find the mascara clumping for the first few days but with use it gets better. Despite being washable, it never smudges considering the fact that I sweat too much. It comes off easily by wiping it off with a makeup remover or even by gently rubbing with water. The claims of the product are true and if you are willing to spend Rs. 500 for a mascara then please don't miss a chance to use this.

Pros:
  • Gives volume and length and curls too
  • Doesn't clump or look spidery
  • Very good for the price (you can easily get discounts on Nykaa. Amazon, etc.) 
  • Available in waterproof and washable variants.
Cons: 
  • Application might be tricky especially on lower lashes.

Final Verdict: 4.5/5. I'm going to repurchase it once I'm done with the current one.

Suncros Aquagel SPF 26 Review

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to review a sunscreen which is the Suncros Aquagel Sunscreen with spf 26. Of late I am only using products that are paraben free. As most of you know, paraben is a class of compounds that are used in cosmetics as a preservative.
