Miss Claire Glimmersticks for Lips

Hello there pretty girls! I'll be reviewing Miss Claire Glimmersticks today which are basically lip liners. I never get tired of buying lip products, be it lipsticks or lip balms or lip liners, they all make me happy. I recently visited Hogg's Market (New Market, Kolkata) to buy some random stuff. I ended up in this shop called Ray and Sahoo. I casually asked them about lip liners and the SA suggested me the Miss Claire ones. She gave a huge box containing all shades and I went crazy. I believe there were a ton of colours to choose from but I bought only three of them. I hope I'll buy more in the future.

Review: This range of lip liners from Miss Claire has a great colour variety - reds, oranges, pinks, browns, neutrals. I use mine as lipsticks more than lip liners. They are well pigmented, stays for up to 3 hours with snacking/drinking in between and most importantly they are transfer proof. The product is fairly creamy in texture and you may/may not have to tug while applying depending on the shade. I, generally, apply a lip balm on top of the lip liner so that the colour is sealed for a longer period of time (a tip).

Pros:
  • Easily affordable
  • Good colour pay off
  • Transfer proof and long lasting
  • Variety of colours available
Cons:
  • Availability might be an issue
  • Some colours may require tugging and is dry in texture
  • They kind of fade away after 3 hours even if you don't eat/drink

Final Verdict: 3.5/5. The shades are undoubtedly pretty but some shades are bummer due to the formula. Considering its price, they are good.

(Left: 1 swipe     Right: 3 swipes)   Review: Would you be in shock if I say that I use this kohl pencil as a brow pencil? I seriously do it. The texture is waxy enough to be used as a brow pencil. It isn't the smoothest kajal pencil but better than those which crumble on account of their softness. Hence, I use it

Suncros Aquagel SPF 26 Review

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to review a sunscreen which is the Suncros Aquagel Sunscreen with spf 26. Of late I am only using products that are paraben free. As most of you know, paraben is a class of compounds that are used in cosmetics as a preservative. Although parabens help to keep our makeup and skin care products bacteria free, however it is said cause hormonal disturbance in our body. Hence, I prefer to be on the safer  side. I have used sunscreens from Lakme, Lotus, Khadi, Neutrogena and they all contain paraben. The Khadi sunscreen claims to be paraben free but I don't like its texture. On much research and consultation with a dermatologist I came across Suncros sunscreen. Suncros Aquagel Spf 26 Now, Suncros has many variants of sunscreens. You can find both cream and gel formulae sunscreens. Although this one has the term "gel"  in it, but the texture is actually that of a cream.  Packaging:   The sunscreen comes in a cubical c
